Barbra went on to record the song. I believe Barbra's version of 'Memory' became more popular than Elaine Page's, who was the original 'Grizabella' in 'Cats' and 'Memory' was Elaine's solo song. 4 года назад I agree Drew: Recording artists usually work with a producer and often you'll see in the liner notes vocals arranged by. The person who works with the singer to get what they think is the best way to sing the song. Barbra probably often has her own ideas about how she should phrase a melody because she knows her own voice. She no doubt gets a lot of input as is expected of a star of her caliber.
